Foo Dog Chinese Lion Sculpture
Foo Dog Chinese Lion Sculpture is a piece from MewaCraft's Floor Sculptures collection. It is made by laser-cutting 0.80 mm galvanized steel sheet, then folding each part by hand and joining them with steel rivets.
Dimensions
This piece is produced in 2 different sizes.
The Medium size stands 96 cm high, 60 cm wide and 90 cm deep, and weighs 12 Kg.
The Large size stands 120 cm high, 75 cm wide and 112 cm deep, and weighs 18 Kg.
Where it works
Floor sculptures create a focal point in the corner of a living room, an entrance hall, an office lobby or the empty space under a staircase. Leaving roughly 50 cm of clear space around the piece lets its shadow become part of the design. Thanks to the electrostatic powder coating it also suits covered outdoor areas such as gardens and terraces.
Colour options
Pieces are finished with electrostatic powder coating. If you would like a different colour, simply state the colour or colour code you want when you send your request.
Care and cleaning
The surface cleans easily with a microfibre cloth; the electrostatic powder coating protects it against household cleaning products. Never rub it with anything sharp, serrated or abrasive, and do not use detergents containing particles.
Production Details
Every MEWACRAFT piece begins its journey as a flat sheet of galvanized steel. Meticulously prepared parts are then cut with high precision on a laser cutting machine. Each cut part is folded by hand and skilfully joined with steel rivets. Finally it is coated with electrostatic powder paint, which resists the elements and holds its form for years.
